Pre Order Christmas Trees Online

At Jackson’s Nurseries, we have a wide selection of real Christmas trees available for pre-order, grown on our Christmas tree farm and cut fresh for delivery or collect. Based in the Staffordshire Moorlands, on the edge of the picturesque Peak District, we have been growing Christmas trees for over 60 years and delivering them to the mainland UK for over 15 years. Buying direct from the grower and cutting out the middle man can not only save you a small fortune, but will guarantee you receive a fresh tree that will go from our fields to your door in just a matter of days.

Why choose a tree from Jacksons?
For decades we have grown the traditional Norway Spruce Christmas tree, and more recently the ever-popular Nordmann Fir and the Serbian Spruce. Growing our own ensures that we can offer expertly grown trees that are unrivalled in quality. Not only do we produce fantastic trees, but our growing fields also support a large ecology of wildlife, offering a haven for birds, insects and small mammals that seek shelter and food amongst the growth.

What are the benefits of pre-ordering your Christmas tree?
By ordering early you will get the pick of the bunch. Previous years have seen that customers are purchasing their Christmas trees earlier and earlier in the season; by pre-ordering you will get a choice of the best trees from the current years' Christmas tree crop. Our team are on hand to offer you the best advice on the best tree for your space as well, and we are more than happy to find a tree that suits your needs - whether you want a bushy base or one that reaches great heights, we can point you in the right direction and find you the perfect fit for your home.

Which tree is the right tree for you?
We know that shopping for your family’s Christmas tree can be a bit of mine field, especially when it comes to buying a tree that will last. It is finding the balance between buying your tree too early and spending Christmas week hoovering up needles or buying too late and missing out on the best trees. We have broken it down a bit for you here:

Nordmann Fir
The ‘No Needle Drop’ Nordmann Fir is known for its low-drop rate — you could get this earlier in December and, with the correct care, it will last you that bit longer before dropping its needles.

Norway Spruce
We suggest that you look to purchase your Norway Spruce slightly later in the month, mid-late December, for you to get the most from your tree. This tree is heavily scented, encasing your home with the traditional fragrance of Christmas.

Serbian Spruce
Newer to the market is the Serbian or Omorika Spruce which is more slender in shape than other trees. With needles similar to that of the Norway Spruce, this tree is well suited for delivery mid-late December.

Alberta Spruce
A perfect mini Christmas tree, the Alberta Spruce has dense branches a bluey hue. It’s conical form makes it well suited for use as a table top tree, or ideal for a windowsill.

Alternative Christmas Trees
You could opt for something a little more unconventional, just like the beautifully different Picea glauca 'JW Daisy's White', perfect for those who like to shake things up at Christmas and maybe for those who have a smaller spot to fill. Or you could have a more traditional alternative, like holly — the Ilex nellie R Stevens lollipop, a topiary version of holly, is perfect for decorating the entrance to your home.

To help you with your search we have created guides covering the different types of Christmas tree, when to buy a Christmas tree, how to care for your tree and how long Christmas trees will last in the home.

We offer some varieties as either potted or cut trees. We find some people like potted trees as they can be planted out after Christmas and there is a reasonable chance they will survive in the garden (about a 60% success rate), especially you follow our Christmas tree care tips – although this cannot be guaranteed.

If you have any particular requirements – maybe a tree with a particularly wide or narrow base – include these in the notes to your order and we’ll do our best to find a tree that fits the bill. We regularly replenish the stock on our garden centre so there are always plenty of fine specimens of all types, shapes and sizes for our internet pickers to choose from.
