Nestled in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside with views out towards the Roaches, Jacksons Tea room is a haven for food lovers and garden enthusiasts alike. Our tea room has a reputation for delicious home-cooked food and friendly personal service in fabulous setting, whether indoors by our roaring open fire in the winter or soaking up the sunshine on our terrace during the summer.
One of our standout features of the tearoom is its menu of homemade specials. Our culinary team of chefs take pride in preparing a variety of dishes from scratch, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. From hearty soups and traditional pies to seasonal salads and gourmet sandwiches, there's something to suit every palate. The specials menu changes regularly, ensuring that there's always something new and exciting to try.
No visit to our tearoom would be complete without indulging in our selection of cakes and pastries. Baked fresh daily, the array of cakes includes everything from rich chocolate fudge cake to light and airy Victoria sponge. Our scones, served with clotted cream and jam, are a particular favourite among regular visitors. Paired with a cup of freshly brewed tea or speciality coffee, these sweet treats provide the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
Breakfast her at Jackson's Nurseries is a must-try experience. Our menu offers a range of options, from the classic Full English breakfast to lighter choices like scrambled eggs. Our breakfast ingredients are of the highest quality, ensuring a delicious and satisfying start to your day.
There is nothing quite as good as a freshly prepared pot of tea or ground coffee which is why all of our staff are barista trained to ensure the highest degree of quality. We took a great deal of care (and many drinks worth of research) to decide on the best tea, coffee and hot chocolate suppliers to provide for our customers. We decided to use Chartley Coffee, based in Staffordshire, for both our coffee and hot chocolate because we were impressed with their quality and it reflects of our own ethos and desire to support local businesses. We have even had a special Jacksons blend of coffee developed which we now serve in the tea room and is available to purchase separately in our farm shop. We also use Yorkshire Tea because there is nothing more important than a good quality, consistent brew that meets the taste demands of all of our customers.
Join us for a locally sourced roast, traditionally served with crisp roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and rich roast gravy. We also have vegetarian options and a choice of ‘chefs special’ main dishes.
What truly sets us apart is our friendly and attentive staff. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service, ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and well-cared for. Our genuine warmth and hospitality create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Whether you need recommendations from the menu or assistance with your plants, our staff are always happy to help with a smile. Our front of house tea room team is led by Tim and Wendy while our head chef Rich oversees the kitchen.
