Rabbits can kill a wide range of plants, including perennials, shrubs and even young trees because they are very inquisitive and will take nibble on many things they find. Any tender new plant growth is particularly vulnerable, as well as newly planted specimens. If your garden is completely overrun with rabbits, another option is to install rabbit-proof fencing around the perimeter of your garden to keep them out, or using spiral rabbit guards around the base of freshly planted woody shrubs and trees.
