Fruit plants with berries
Browse our selection of berrying fruit bushes, perfect for providing delicious, juicy fruits for hungry gardeners or simply grown as ornamental plants, perhaps with the fruits left unprotected to attract and sustain birds in your garden. There is nothing better than enjoying the taste of your very own, home grown fruit and veg, tasting far better than anything you'll find on the supermarket shelves. Fruit plants are surprising easy to grow and incredibly rewarding come harvest time. Soft fruit bushes can be grown in the border, a container, grow bag or even a hanging basket in some cases. Some of the easiest to grow are strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. Most fruit bushes like a fertile, moist yet well drained soil. They’re hungry plants, particularly when the fruits are swelling when a regular feed with a high potassium fertiliser such as tomato food is most important. If you have a particularly infertile or poorly drained soil, consider growing fruit bushes in raised beds.
