Raspberry plants

Raspberries are popular, vigorous, self-fertile cane plants which produce an abundance of delicious fruit. They are easy to grow, making them a perfect beginner fruit, and suitable for gardens of any size or containers. There are two types of raspberry plants: summer-fruiting and autumn-fruiting. Summer-fruiting raspberries will be ready for harvesting in early summer, whilst autumn-fruiting raspberries are ready for picking between August and October. Raspberry Glen Moy is the earliest of the summer-fruiting raspberries. Raspberries are good for gardens in cooler northern climates as they flower late in the spring when there is little danger of them being damaged by late frosts.
