At a Glance

This is a fantastic, summer flowering herb with deeply divided, aromatic foliage. Unusual, bright yellow flowers are produced in upright clusters throughout the summer, sometimes being used for medical purposes. Evergreen when grown in sheltered spots, semi-evergreen or deciduous if exposed to frosts or cold winds.

It is a fully hardy variety which should be grown in full sun where a well-drained, fertile soil is available. Old wood should be cut back in spring to maintain its compact and neat growth habit. We recommend that you wear gloves when handling as may cause a bad skin reaction.

Garden Centre Exclusive £1.99 each or 3 for £5 on all 8/9cm pots.

Buying Herbs from Jacksons Nurseries

At Jacksons Nurseries our herbs are sold to plant out and grow on rather than instant culinary use. Unlike many supermarkets we grow them to help create a hardly plant with a good healthy root system that will grow to provide a good ‘clump’ producing to come.

Depending on the time of year you make your purchase herbs not look like the images on our website as they are trimmed back judiciously as required to prevent them from becoming leggy and untidy.
