Alyssum does well in virtually any soil or position, and are delightful in beds, rockeries or edging a path.
These low growing half hardy annual plants become smothered in tiny, pure white flowers all summer long.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost, Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth 10-15 degree Celsius (50-60 Fahrenheit), and keep moist.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm (2in) apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off/Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out from late April onwards. Allow 15cm (6in) between plants.
