Flowering perennials

Perennials are an excellent choice for bringing masses of beautiful blooms to your flower beds, mixed borders and container displays. They come in a wide range of colours, shapes and sizes with varieties that bloom at different times of the year. Different types of perennials can be combined to provide a long season of colour and interest, perhaps in a scheme together with summer bedding plants. For grand, majestic flowering spikes, look no further than a Delphinium such as Delphinium Blue Bird or, for striking orange flowers distinctively marked with a maroon throat, consider Hemerocallis Bonanza. Ornamental poppy plants with their single dark orange-red flowers are excellent for the Cottage Garden, whilst Lupins such as Lupinus My Castle provides a reliable display of crimson-red blooms throughout the summer.
