Fast growing rose plants
Shop our range of the best fast growing roses, perfect for the impatient gardener who wants lush foliage and beautiful flowers as quickly as possible. Roses comprise a mix of erect shrubs, climbers and scramblers, typically armed with sharp thorns used for hanging onto other vegetation as they grow over it, which makes them intruder proof. Widely known for their beauty and fragrance, most bear an abundance of large, showy flowers above pinnate leaves with serrated margins. This section includes a mix of floribunda, hybrid tea, climbing, rambling, Old English, patio, polyantha and bush roses. Floribunda is Latin for "many flowering", representing a group of roses that bear many flowers held in large clusters that bloom continuously from summer through to late autumn. Hybrid tea roses produce large, shapely flowers from high-centred buds on long, straight stems, making them well suited for using as cut flowers. Climbing roses are an excellent way of introducing height to the garden alongside beautiful flowers and often a fabulous fragrance, while patio roses do not normally exceed 45-55cm. Polyantha roses are one of the parents of floribunda roses, generally smaller growing than floribundas but sturdy plants producing modest blooms of 2.5cm (1 inch) diameter in large clusters.
