Three different varieties of apple have been grafted onto the same deciduous tree, so you can grow and enjoy three different varieties at the same time.
'Jonagold' is a dessert apple with large gold fruit with a red flush. With its crisp honeyed taste and regular crop the Jonagold cultivar is a great choice. Fruit stores well and can be used from November to February. Pollination Group: C
'Laxton's Superb' is often compared to Cox but is a superior variety that bares larger fruit with a distinctly 'appley' flavour. Another good apple to store with a season from October to January. Poillination Group: C
'Elstar' is a dessert apple that produces heavy regular crops. Fruit is greenish-yellow with a red flush and its crisp honeyed flavour makes it a popular choice, it's season of use is October to December. Pollination Group B

Buying Fruit Trees/Bushes from Jacksons Nurseries
Unlike many garden centres, supermarkets and some nurseries here at Jacksons Nurseries we sell the majority of our stock all year round. Our stock is for the most part grown outdoors making it far hardier than those grown under glass and/or only sold ‘In Season’.
Here at Jacksons Nurseries we would favour a hardy outdoor grown plant every time. They are far less likely to suffer from the shock of being planted in colder conditions and they will begin to establish more rapidly the following spring. This can mean that they don’t look like a ‘picture perfect’ plant when purchased out of season but with the correct care and a little time you’ll have a wonderful plant to enjoy for many years to come.
