Yellow Flowering Azaleas

Azaleas are flowering shrubs in the genus Rhododendron, used to refer to generally smaller-growing evergreen and deciduous varieties with smaller leaves. Azaleas are acid-loving plants producing long-lasting spring flowers which clothe the entire bush, available in a wide variety of colours. They are easy to grow and shade tolerant, making them perfect for growing under the canopies of trees or adding instant impact and colour to drab parts of the garden. Generally slow growing, Azaleas are effective when grown standalone or in mass plantings in larger areas. Trim after flowing to encourage a bushy growth habit. See our Rhododendrons category for generally larger varieties with sizable, leathery evergreen leaves.

Azalea 'Golden Eagle' offers rich flowers and striking autumn foliage colour with large, trumpet-shaped, orange-yellow flowers which erupt from tight trusses of pale red buds between May and June. Azalea 'Klondyke' produces vibrant, warm and fragrant golden orange flowers in spring with beautiful foliage colour in shades of vivid coppery pink when coming into leaf and blazing orangey reds in late autumn and early winter.
