Hyacinth Bulbs
Hyacinth’s are well-loved for their richly perfumed single or double flowers, which me be held in loose or dense racemes, available in a range of vibrant and pastel colours from bright pink to soft blue. They are particularly popular for growing indoors in containers and forcing to flower in time for Christmas. Their richly coloured blooms appear in mid-spring, making them well suited to combining with daffodils and early tulips to create a rainbow of colours in shades of pink, white, lavender, cobalt blue, wine red, deep purple and apricot. They’re easy to grow and, like other spring flowering bulbs, just need to be planted in autumn so you can enjoy their flowers in the spring. Hyacinth’s produce the biggest flowers in full sun but will also succeed in partial or dappled shade.
