Anemone Bulbs

Anemone bulbs are delightful free flowering perennials, producing masses of bright or pastel coloured, saucer-shaped blooms from June through the summer. Flowers are held high on long, stiff stems, contrasting beautifully with the lush foliage. Anemones are ideal for brightening up partially shaded areas of the garden, grown en masse in a woodland setting or even the rockery garden. They can be divided into three main groups: (1) those from woodland & alpine pastures which flower in spring; (2) Anemones originating from the Mediterranean or Central Asia which flower in late spring or early summer; and (3) larger herbaceous species which flowers in late summer to autumn.
