English roses

English roses combine the delicate charm and wonderful fragrances of Old Roses with the wider colour range and repeat-flowering nature of modern roses, producing exuberant flowers with a delicious scent from mid-spring onwards. Renowned for their reliability, vigour and health, they have a graceful, shrubby habit making them ideal for working into mixed planting schemes and dedicated rose borders. Taller-growing English roses can be trained up a rail fence or post, whilst more compact varieties work best in the border. They look most spectacular when grown in groups of odd numbers of 3 or more of the same variety to really make a statement and afford a more continuous display.
