Coronavirus (COVID 19) - Update

Delivery Times

Our current dispatch time is approximately 3-4 weeks from the date your order is placed.

At Jackson's, safety is always our primary concern for staff and customers alike and we are doing everything we can to protect them during these difficult and unprecedented times.

We have followed the advice of the Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation to change the way we do things in the interest of safety. For this reason, it may take longer than normal to process your order. Please rest assured that all plants leaving our nursery are still receiving the usual levels of TLC you would expect from us. The situation is constantly evolving but our best estimate of current dispatch time is indicated above.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone one of you for your continued support & encouragement throughout this difficult time. We applaud our staff who have shown such tremendous team spirit and resilience over recent weeks.

Daily Limit on Number of Orders

To help us manage demand to a level we can realistically fulfil, we have introduced a daily limit on the number of orders that we can accept each day.

We have different teams and processes for gathering and dispatching different types of orders, so you may sometimes see our website still accepting some types of orders but not others.

For this purpose, we distinguish between the following types of orders:
(1) National delivery orders (beyond 5 miles from our garden centre in North Staffordshire, ST9 9LE)
(2) Local delivery orders (within 5 miles)
(3) Collection orders

What to Expect: Once our daily threshold for any type of order has been reached, this will be indicated in a big green banner on the homepage (examples below).

At this point, you will unfortunately need to wait until the following morning to place your order - this applies even if you have already added items to the Shopping Cart or are already mid-way through the checkout process.

Please bear in mind that when the limit is reached:

  1. You will not be able to checkout that day (even if items are already in your shopping cart or if you're already mid way through the checkout process).
  2. You can; however, still create an account (see below for how to register) and add everything you would like to order to your shopping basket ready to order the following morning. Please just remember not to clear the cookies in your internet browser settings in the meantime.

Please note: On some days, demand is so high that we reach our maximum capacity as early as around 9:30am in the morning.

We apologise for this inconvenience - we have had to take this step to cope with the increased demand.

Thanks again for your continued support.

Response Time for Queries

We have a small but dedicated team responding to queries.

We normally aim to respond to queries within 48 hours but due to extremely high levels of orders, it is sometimes taking us longer. Please bear with us - all emails are prioritised based on the date they were received and we will respond as soon as we can.

For national delivery orders (beyond 5 miles from ST9 9LE) please email us at sales@jacksonsnurseries.co.uk.

For local delivery orders (within 5 miles of ST9 9LE) please email local@jacksonsnurseries.co.uk.
