Korean Fir
Abies Koreana
This is a broadly conical, hardy conifer which has a pyramidal form and is densely clothed with dark shiny needles that are bright silver underneath. From an early age it produces upright, deep purplish blue, cylindrical cones with green inverted seed bracts in mid-autumn. Rows of pink and green upright female flowers are also borne in late spring.
