Grape Vine
Vitis Brant
A fantastic, dual-purpose vine with small, fresh green leaves and clusters of green grapes that start to develop during the summer and ripen to black in the autumn. Providing they’re not stolen by birds, the grapes decorate the vine throughout the autumn, releasing a lovely, aromatic scent into the garden. Although the fruits are edible they’re full of pips and best left on the vines to enhance the appearance of the plant. It has a vigorous growth habit and takes on rich red and orange foliage tints in the autumn. A popular vine with lobed, fresh green leaves that has won the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
