Thuja occidentalis Smaragd
A superb, columnar Thuja, golden yellow turning deep golden bronze in winter. Aromatic. Makes a superb specimen columnar statement and forms a superb low maintenance instant hedge when planted 60cm apart. Highly recommended.

Garden Care:
Your Thuja Smaragd is supplied root-balled, take good care in handling, do not drop or shake off soil. Dig the hold deep enough to plant apx 100mm deeper than the plant has been grown in the nursery. Place in the hole carefully, undo or cut root wrap and tuck it into the bottom of the hole. Gently backfill the hole and firm the soil around the outer part of the root-ball well. Add two Osmacote tablets on planting and water well during at lease the first year of establishment.
