White Cedar
Thuja occidentalis Golden Globe
This is an excellent, dwarf evergreen conifer which forms a rounded, globular shape when allowed to grow naturally. The compact and slightly twisted sprays of soft yellow foliage make an attractive dome which can be used as a foundation plant or slow-growing hedge. Unlike other yellow-leaved varieties, it does not scorch in full sun and suffers no serious insect or disease problems. It must be kept well-watered in periods of hot, dry weather, especially when grown as a foundation plant.
