Bridal Wreath
Spiraea arguta
This is a handsome, early flowering spiraea with graceful, arching branches that are festooned with dainty, pure white flowers between March and April. It has toothed, bright green leaves and makes a wonderful addition to a sunny, well-drained border in any garden. As one of the first spring-flowering shrubs, faded sprays of flowers must be cut off immediately to guarantee an abundant flowering display the following year.
