Hardhack
Spiraea Gold Flame
This is a dwarf, deciduous shrub whose principal attraction is the gorgeous, orange-yellow foliage which provides fantastic colour and interest to the garden. It also has the added bonus of dark pink flowers which are borne in clusters between July and August. Young foliage is bronzy-gold, turning to red and then soft yellow during the first growing season, before maturing to luminous green. It is a low-growing variety making it ideal for use as ground-cover for a sunny spot of the garden.
