Mountain Ash
Sorbus Joseph Rock
This is a magnificent, well-shaped deciduous tree which bears clusters of flat, pearly-white flowers between April and May. These are produced above erect, maroon branches of elongated, mid-green leaves which take on brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow during the autumn. This fantastic autumn foliage colour provides a perfect back-drop to the bunches of small, spherical, golden-yellow berries which grace the tree in autumn and last well into the winter, attracting wildlife to the garden. A handsome, medium-sized tree that can withstand a wide range of conditions and maintains its strong and distinctive shape with minimal pruning.
