Golden Rod/ Baby Gold
Solidago
Long, horizontal, slightly arching spikes of stunning, densely-packed, butter-yellow blooms clothe the whole plant in a showy display from July to September. These have the appearance and texture of a feather and help to add colour and interest to the garden when most other summer-flowering perennials have faded. It is a vigorous, low maintenance, semi-dwarf variety which combines well with other bright-coloured flowers and looks lovely when grown at the front of a sunny border or in a container on the patio. Winner of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, it is adaptive to most growing conditions and benefits from the application of a slow-release fertiliser in early summer.

If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly
