Stonecrop
Sedum Autumn Joy
Massive heads of striking, dusty-pink flowers emerge from green, broccoli-like buds in August and stay on the plant well into the winter. These deepen to coppery-pink then reddish-bronze as they mature, eventually drying out and attracting birds to the garden during the winter. This is a versatile, dependable variety which forms a substantial clump of stout, sturdy stems and succulent, light green leaves. Perfect for adding a vibrant splash of colour to the late summer and autumn garden, it attracts bees and butterflies and helps to add structure to winter beds. As its thick, succulent leaves can store water it is drought tolerant once established and not troubled by pests and diseases.

Very easy to grow. Please Note: Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly.
