Black Elder
Sambucus nigra Black Beauty
A new and unusual elder. The dark red buds open to burgundy black leaves in spring followed by fragrant pink flowers in early summer that offer superb foliage and flower contrast. The season wide interest is followed by fiery autumn foliage and burgundy black fruits.
