English Shrub Rose
Rosa Winchester Cathedral
An abundance of fully double, cupped, pure white blooms emerge from attractive, pink-tinged buds across the entire shrub from July to September. These are borne singly or in clusters at regular intervals throughout the season, possessing an unusual, strong fragrance with a hint of honey and almond blossom. It has a strong disease resistance with a rounded, bushy growth habit and masses of healthy, light green leaves. Perfect for incorporating into borders, mixed plantings or beds and for cutting to use in floral arrangements, it also looks very effective when grown en-masse and makes a great specimen for growing in a container. Introduced by David Austin in 1988 and named after one of the finest Cathedrals in Britain, it has an old-fashioned appearance and blooms continuously until the first frost
