Floribunda Rose
Rosa Scarlet Queen Elizabeth
Large, beautifully formed, semi-double, orangey-scarlet blooms emerge from masses of attractive, pointed buds between July and September. This is a large, vigorous, easy-to-grow variety with upright, stiff canes and finely toothed, leathery dark green leaves. The pretty, high centred blooms have an informal, cupped appearance and possess a subtle, sweet fragrance which drifts gently in the breeze. Perfect for hedging purposes or growing as a framework for annual vines to cling to, its tall stems and long-lasting blooms also make it a great choice for using as cut flowers. An excellent, large-growing, disease resistant Floribunda which combines well with lilies and looks great when grown up the side of a fence, porch or shed. Mulch with well rotted garden compost or manure in the spring to encourage a plentiful production of flower buds
