Hybrid Tea Rose

Delightful, beautifully-shaped, fully double deep crimson-red blooms with long stalks and a lovely, spicy fragrance are produced in abundance from July to September. This is a fairly vigorous, upright, free-flowering bush with stout branches and finely-toothed, semi-glossy, ovate dark green leaves. Widely considered to be one of the best dark red available, the handsome, eye-catching, high-centred blooms are perfect for cutting and exhibiting. It has a strong disease resistance and is well-suited to planting from the middle to the back of a mixed border. Cut back by two-third in early spring and protect from frost over the winter.

Garden Care:
Dependent on the time of year you buy our roses, the compost may break away when removing from the pot because they are field grown and potted in autumn. Prior to planting trim the roots to 25cm and the stems to 15 to 20cm taking care to cut diagonally away from and above an outer facing bud. Mix compost in with the back fill and a potash based fertilizer.
