Floribunda Rose
Rosa Mountbatten
Clusters of large, rounded, fully double, mimosa-yellow blooms are produced on strong, stiff stems from July to September. This is a versatile, award winning variety that’s widely considered to be the best tall-growing Floribunda available today. It has thorny stems and produces an abundance of crisp, leathery, glossy bright green leaves which provide a perfect backdrop to the well-shaped blooms. Its strong disease resistance makes it a great bedding rose which can also be grown en masse as the centre-piece to a flower bed. Boasting a tall growth habit and semi-evergreen foliage in milder climates, it makes an excellent hedge or specimen plant for a border or container. Although its one of the most reliable and tolerant roses available it does require lots of space in any open, sunny site to thrive.
