Climbing Rose
Rosa Madame Gregoire Staechelin
Large, fully double, Hybrid Tea-shaped, soft pink blooms which are shaded with crimson in the centre and possess a heavenly, heavy sweet perfume. This is a healthy, strong-growing variety with a vigorous, spreading habit and finely-toothed, semi-glossy mid green leaves that are robust and hardy enough to cover a north-facing wall. The flowering season is short but very spectacular, with an abundance of blooms emerging from attractive, dark pink buds which clothe the whole plant in a fantastic display of colour. Sometimes referred to as Rosa Spanish Beauty, a fully grown specimen of Madame Gregoire Staechelin in full flower is a sight to behold
