False Acacia
Robinia pseudoacacia Frisia
Stunning, golden-yellow foliage that looks extremely vibrant with the sun shining through it. Unlike most yellow leaved plants, rather than getting darker and greener as the season goes on, this one gets yellower and brighter right up to the autumn. It’s perfect for adding a bright splash of colour to a sheltered area of the garden that’s protected from strong winds and storms. It has a strong-growing, columnar habit and can be pruned hard each year to grow as a shrub and keep it within boundaries. A RHS Garden Merit winner which produces clusters of scented, white flowers between May and June. All parts of the plant are harmful if consumed.
