Hybrid Rhododendron
Rhododendron Goldflimmer
This is a slow-growing, evergreen variety with beautifully variegated, mid-green foliage. It is fully hardy but must be kept well watered in the first growing season to ensure it develops an extensive root system. Ideal for planting in groups under the canopies of trees.

Garden Care:
Be careful not to plant too deep and incorporate lots of peat in the planting hole. Apply a generous woodchip mulch in summer to help the plant retain moisture and to protect the root from overheating. During the first growing season, water regularly in periods of dry weather to establish a deep, extensive root system and feed with an acid fertiliser after the plant has flowered. Routine pruning is not required.
