Hybrid Rhododendron
Rhododendron Belkanto
This is a medium-sized, slow-growing hybrid with fresh, bright green young foliage which matures to mid-green with age. It bears large, peachy-yellow blooms with orange tones and prominent orange spotting in the throat. The flowers open from orange-red buds and last for three to four weeks between April and May. As all rhododendrons are typically quite shallow rooted, it’s important to keep this variety well watered in periods of dry weather so it can establish an extensive root system during the first growing season.
