Raspberry
Raspberry Malling Jewel
An excellent raspberry with short, slightly thorny canes and large, red fruit that has an excellent flavour in autumn. It’s an all-purpose variety that has been popular for many years, cropping reliably but steadily each year. As it has a compact growth habit and yeilds aren’t abundant we’d recommend growing two plants beside one another to ensure you have a plentiful supply of fruit. ‘Malling Jewel’ has the extra advantage of being tolerant to virus infections. The plants that we supply will have a minimum of 3 canes per pot
