Weeping Cherry
Prunus pendula Pendula Rubra
Stunning tree in flower; masses of sweet scented single pink flowers, carmine in bud. The pendulous branches sweep down to the ground as the tree matures. Mid-green foliage turns fiery shades of orange and red in autumn. Tolerant of pollution and does well in most soil. (Avoid waterlogged and chalky soils). An ideal dramatic spring time centre piece for any garden.
