Cinquefoil
Potentilla Gibson's Scarlet
Unusual, saucer-shaped, bright scarlet-red flowers with subtle, purple veining are produced singly across the whole plant from June to August. This is an eye-catching, easy-to-grow variety which forms a low, spreading clump of deeply serrated, healthy, bright green leaves. Excellent for the front of a sunny bed or border, it combines well with other ‘warm’ coloured varieties and looks great in a sunny cottage garden. It has won the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit and has a beautiful, informal appearance which is great for naturalising a planting scheme or adding a splash of colour to rock gardens.

If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly
