Cinquefoil
Potentilla Fruticosa Goldfinger
This is a popular, deciduous variety which produces a showy display of globe-shaped, golden-yellow flowers between July and October. These are produced above a dense mass of light green foliage with fine hairs on the tops of the leaves. It is a very resilient shrub which is widely regarded as one of the best yellow-flowering potentilla cultivars available. The shape and size can be controlled by shearing each spring.
