European Plum
Plum Victoria
A reliable, self-fertile variety producing masses of single, white flowers in spring and heavy crops of large, oblong-shaped, pale red plums that are ready for picking in late August. This is the most popular plum with both amateur and commercial growers bearing an abundance of fruit with rich, golden-yellow flesh that’s suitable for cooking, canning, bottling or just eating fresh. The fruit needs to be thinned out to ensure a good crop is produced every year and not on a biennial basis.
