Mugo Pine
Pinus Mugo Ophir
This is a very slow growing, compact, dwarf evergreen conifer with attractive, golden-yellow, needle-like foliage and small cones on mature plants. It has a dense, rounded growth habit with a flat top and a rather irregular shape when young. Usually seen less than 60cm high, it’s great for using in rock gardens, fountain plantings, groupings or on embankments. Its year-round vibrant colour and uniqueness also makes it perfect for the heather garden, roof garden trough or container.
