Brewer's Weeping Spruce
Picea breweriana
This is an attractive large conifer with single, linear foliage that is spirally arranged. This tends to point forward on the twig and is green above and white on the underside. Erect, brown male cones appear in the upper half of the plant during the autumn. Its open, sparse crown with long, pendulous branches gives it an attractive weeping appearance which looks great as a specimen plant in large gardens.
