Phormium Atropurpureum
A striking evergreen grass with deep purple / bronze, sword like foliage. Flowers bronzy-red in summer on tall stems. Thrives in maritime conditions.

Its upright growth habit makes it ideal for adding architectural flare to low maintenance gardens and pots. Although it’s not as vigorous as Phormium tenax, it still needs some space to grow

Garden Care:
Any dead, diseased and damaged leaves should be removed in late spring. It’s also beneficial to apply a generous mulch of well-rotted organic matter and to feed with a balanced, liquid fertiliser to stimulate new growth. No other pruning is required
