Garden Phlox
Phlox paniculata Blue Boy
Spectacular, large, lilac-blue flowers with a delightful fragrance and a central white blush are produced in tight, cheerful clusters from mid-summer until the first frost. This is a delightful, low-maintenance garden phlox that has healthy, elongated, fresh green leaves and a traditional cottage-garden appearance. Excellent for adding spotlights of colour to the summer garden, it’s great in flower beds or patio gardens and looks beautiful when used as a cornerstone plant for a new garden spot. The long-lasting, richly-coloured blooms are also excellent for enlivening bouquets or using as a backdrop to summer flowering bulbs.

Garden Care:
Ensure it is grown in plenty of space and with good air circulation. Mulch around the base of the plant with a well-rotted organic matter in summer to keep the roots cool and moist. Dead heading faded blooms will help to extend the flowering period. Please Note: Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly.
