Silver Grass
Miscanthus sinensis Silberfeder
This is a fantastic, towering ornamental grass with long and narrow, sturdy bright green blades of foliage. It produces spectacular panicles of pink-tinged, tassel-like, silvery-white flowers in late summer which gradually fade to light brown with age and remain looking good throughout the autumn and winter. Perfect for using as a specimen plant or growing at the back of a border, we recommend cutting older stems back to ground level in late winter to make space for new growth
