Crab Apple
Malus Red Sentinel
A small, deciduous tree which produced charming, scented white flowers that are tinged with pink between May and June. These are followed by clusters of long-lasting, cherry-like, dark red fruits which add valuable colour and interest to the garden throughout the winter. It is attractive to wildlife and benefits from the removal of crossing branches in early spring. A spreading growth habit makes it an ideal specimen tree for a small to medium-sized garden. Tolerant of pollution and salt-laden air.
