Magnolia
Magnolia liliiflora Nigra
This is a wonderful, deciduous shrub which has an upright and compact, open-branching growth habit. It is a stunning variety which is renowned for its beautiful dark, purple-red flowers which appear from an earlier age than most other magnolias. It has a long blooming season, commonly between March and May, and can be grown as a single specimen plant or as part of a mixed or shrub border.

Garden Care:
