Honeysuckle
Lonicera Copper Beauty
A fantastic, evergreen climber with rich, bronze new growth and fragrant, trumpet-shaped, deep coppery-yellow blooms that are flushed red in summer. This is a stunning honeysuckle which looks great when trained up a wall, fence or trellis, particularly when combined with an early flowering clematis. It can be trimmed to shape in early spring when last years coppery new growth will have turned to deep blue-green. Originating in the Netherlands, it’s suitable for any free-draining soil and likes a sunny or semi-shaded spot.
