Blazing Star
Liatris Floristan Violet
Magnificent, towering spires of long, bottlebrush-like, magenta-purple blooms which appear high above the foliage from July to August. This is a splendid, drought tolerant variety that forms a low clump of long, narrow, grass-like leaves and looks stunning in sunny borders, meadow gardens or containers. Combining well with fragrant lilies and butterfly bushes, the long flowering spikes also make it an excellent choice for cutting and using in fresh or dried flower arrangements. A great perennial for providing long-lasting colour and attracting bees and butterflies to the garden

If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly
