Juniper Old Gold
Juniperus pfitzeriana Old Gold
This is an attractive, evergreen conifer with a compact, spreading growth habit. Lacy, golden-yellow new growth is produced in late spring and early summer. This retains its colour exceptionally well throughout summer and autumn, before darkening to a handsome shade of bronze in the winter. It’s normally grown for its compact size and attractive winter colour, and is ideal for using as a foundation plant, specimen shrub or mass planting. It is drought tolerant once established and should be grown in full sun for best colour.
