Irish Juniper
Juniperus communis Hibernica
This is a drought tolerant, evergreen conifer with a dense, upright, narrowly columnar growth habit, becoming broader and more conical with age. Dull, blue-green young foliage is produced on erect branches, maturing to dark green with a dot of white near the apex. Ideal for using as a specimen plant in a heather garden or for incorporating into a mixed border.
