Mint Julep Chinese Juniper
Juniperus chinensis Mint Julep
This is an outstanding, tough evergreen conifer with a dense, spreading growth habit and arching branches that create a low, fountain-like form. It is clothed with sharply-pointed, needle-like, bright mint-green foliage that can easily be pruned to any desired height and spread. Perfect for using in the shrub border or oriental garden, it also makes a robust informal hedge and can be shaped as topiary. Alternatively, combine it with golden and dark green evergreens to create a lovely display that will provide covering and prevent erosion on banks. Easy to maintain with year-round interest.
